IRDS provides a number of resources to support the VCU community.

Learning Sessions

IRDS offers customized learning sessions designed to educate our campus partners on institutional data and how IRDS can support their mission. Please contact irds@vcu.edu to schedule a learning session for your team.

Data steward toolkit

The data steward toolkit, which is located on VCU's data governance site, contains various links, guidelines and templates that can enhance your stewardship of institutional data and information. An institutional data dictionary is among the resources available.

IRDS Wiki

A full resource of IRDS terms, definitions, and guides are available on the VCU IRDS wiki. Users must be connected to the VCU network (either on-campus or through the VPN) to access the wiki, and access to the extended IRDS wiki is granted on a case-by-case basis. Please email irds@vcu.edu for access to or questions regarding the IRDS wiki.
